Smilla was my first Braccoon puppy and came to me in March 2017. I had waited a long time for her, so it was all the more wonderful when she finally arrived. After my two Beagles, a Braccoon was a completely different experience, and I immediately fell in love with the breed.

Smilla was always very considerate of other dogs and people. Her hunting instinct is moderate. She loves water, but doesn't really swim. She simply enjoys splashing around.

Smilla started her mantrailing career as a puppy, and after her time with Beagles, this was a completely new experience in terms of leash strength. Now, at 9 years old, we've finally found our rhythm.

With her, I successfully completed the mantrailing sport tests up to MT 3.

We also did dog sledding, where she pulled a scooter. She no longer participates in this sport due to her age.

Besides that, she loves to fetch and still plays with the youngsters to this day.
