Dea wasn't planned, but she was warmly welcomed into the pack. She's only been with me since June 2025. Until 2024, she lived with her breeder in Italy, where she was also used for hunting. When she came to Germany, she found a loving home with friends (VDH breeders) and had a litter of 11 puppies there, 9 of which went to hunting homes. Due to unforeseen circumstances, she needed a new home in the middle of last year and then came to me. She is a half-sister of Scully (same father).

Due to her past in Italy, she has a strong hunting instinct and immediately goes into work mode outdoors. Currently, she can't be let off-leash yet, but we're working on it. Indoors, she's very calm and affectionate. I've also started mantrailing with Dea, and she loves fetching, digging, and swimming.
